The Imrie brand is expanding. We already have our t shirts - the perfect everyday comfy and cool basics. Mostly plain, some with simple graphics. We have the best bathing suits we could ever have imagined, all made in Italy with the highest quality Italian microfiber available. In the works we have our shirts, gauzy button downs, japanese plaids, stone washed denim.
What has just arrived is our tailored collection. Feminine and beautifully crafted, these pieces are made of sumptuous stone washed silks, japanese crepes, and linen tencel blends. The fits of these pieces are impeccable and the details perfect. As with all of our manufacturing, everything is made in a small studio in Los Angeles.
In this collection we have named each piece after a favorite place in St Barth. While you can wear them everyday and everywhere, these pieces truly embody the St Barth lifestyle. Cool and comfortable while at the same time being incredibly chic and well tailored. These pieces are effortless with practical high quality fabrics that actually hold up to the wear we give them!
The Toiny dress is a classic slip dress. Thin straps with a straight loose fit to above the knee. This dress has a slit on each side and the fit is marvelous. While it is also coming in silk, right now we have the Toiny dress in a lovely black Japanese crepe with a slight stretch. This fabric feels AMAZING and has a beautiful drape and movement. This dress makes getting dressed easy. Put it on with a string of TerreMer pearls and you will look stunning day or night. Effortlessly chic.
The Vitet Tank is the Toiny dress in a tank version. Same black japanese crepe. Impeccable fit around the chest to a loose tank top with a beautiful drape. Simple, classic, and comfortable. Not too long and not too short, this is the perfect thin strap tank top. We love it with destroyed denim, a Julian belt, and some black pearls.
The Saline dress is probably our most feminine new style. In stone washed silk this is a loose dress with a thick ruffle at the bottom. The classic muted colors of navy and sand stone balance out the feminity of this dress while also providing an ideal contrast to tan glowing skin. The movement and weight of the silk is amazing. The perfect dress for any sort of party or special occasion you might have.
The Lurin jumpsuit is our last new style. Made from a linen/tencel blend this jumpsuit really is incredible. The fit is perfect. It features a front zip and two side pockets. Available in both black and white, this is the piece to wear to make a statement. (Or just because you can't be bothered to find a shirt and pair of pants.) The linen/tencel blend is a lovely weight. Both durable and pretty, it holds its shape and washes amazingly. As with all of these new pieces, the Lurin jumpsuit is beautifully made down to the last detail, like a stone washed silk trim around the neckline. We like to wear the jumpsuit just as is, or try it with the hems rolled up for a cool look. (*just a note: this jumpsuit makes everyones bum looks AMAZING! No sagging, which is quite a feat for an all in one! Very special jumpsuit.)
We really are so thrilled with all of these new pieces. They are designs that we feel proud to have our name on and to have created. Our philosophy is to design items that you can have, wear, and enjoy for years. Pieces that will still look amazing and be relevant 20 years from now. We hope to stay away from the trends so that you will be able to look back on a picture of yourself 20 years from now and say "Wow, I looked so cool!", not "oh my gosh, what was I wearing?!" (Trust me, we have had those moments.) We hope you love these pieces as much as we do.
